ProX Cable XC-SBCAT6-4XF 4 Channel XLR-F CAT6 Audio/DMX Portable Snake Box

ProX is proud to introduce the ProX XC-SBCAT6-4XF 4 Channel XLR-F CAT6 Audio/DMX Portable Snake Box, a compact solution built to replace bulky multicore snake cable with a single lightweight CAT-5, CAT-5E, or CAT-6 run. Anyone who has hauled a heavy analog snake across a venue floor knows how much time and strain that cable adds to load in, and the ProX SBCAT6-4XF solves that problem by carrying up to four channels of signal through a compact metal box on each end of the network cable run. Single Cable Signal Transport This unit sends up to four channels of Audio or DMX signal down one run of CAT-5, CAT-5E, or CAT-6 UTP or STP cable, cutting out the weight and bulk of a traditional multicore snake between stage and mix position. Sending End Design Built as the PBE-202S sending end of the pair, signal enters through four Female XLR connectors and exits through a single Ethercon RJ45 jack, ready to travel down the network run to its matching receiving end unit. Signal Versatility Channels can be mixed and matched between Mic/Line, Line, or AES/EBU configurations, giving engineers a flexible way to move analog or digital signal over the same cable run depending on the job. Tested Performance Every unit is factory tested over both CAT-5 UTP and CAT-6 STP cable, so it performs reliably on the exact cable types used in the field, with a wide, flat frequency response that keeps signal clean end to end. Built for the Working Pair The ProX SBCAT6-4XF pairs with the ProX SBCAT6-4XM to complete a full sending and receiving set, and additional pairs can be added when a job calls for more than four channels.
