Gefen

DVI Extender over Single-Strand Fiber Optic Cable, 1KM (EXT-DVI-FM1000)

The Gefen DVI FM1000 DVI extender offers a robust and reliable solution for transmitting Digital Visual Interface (DVI) signals over extreme distances, far surpassing the limitations of a standard DVI cable. This powerful system uses two compact transceivers and a single strand of SC multimode fiber optic cable to send high-resolution video up to 3,280 feet (1km) from the source's DVI port to a remote DVI monitor. The all-fiber construction ensures the signal is completely immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI), delivering pristine image quality in any environment. Installation is streamlined by an automatic EDID programming feature that correctly syncs the video source to the display without requiring manual configuration, making it the ideal unobtrusive solution for professional AV and IT installations demanding absolute signal integrity over long runs. ⚠️Comes with both Sender and Receiver Units
